The Weekender: Happy Valentine’s Day!


How are you celebrating Valentine’s Day? I don’t know about you, but we got hit with SERIOUS cold in CNY, so most of us are just trying to avoid leaving the house. My boyfriend and I have planned an evening in with pizza.

For as cold as it is, I commend my dedicated BODYSTEPpers who still got their butts to a Valentine’s Day-themed class at Powerhouse Gym Utica this weekend. We know how to bring the heat any time of year!


I love Valentine’s Day because I have so many amazing people to celebrate with, from my gym family to my family at home, including these furry fools.

My girl is gorgeous inside and out.

Father Cookie is really my first ever Valentine. He spoils me. These are the chocolate-covered Oreos he sent me:

Don’t worry; I’m balancing it out with nutrient-packed meals like this. What you see me post here isn’t always what  I normally eat, but this is a typical dinner for me. It usually involves veggie burgers, greens, and grains. And cheese.
